Feeling the hustle and bustle of the local market is a real joy and getting lost in the high neighborhood full of popular taverns is an unforgettable experience.

Eating, eating, and eating is essential, going out for drinks, sunbathing, sitting on a terrace where you can order a beer, or even better, a glass of refreshing manzanilla sherry with some tapas, yummmm

History, gastronomy, leisure

You can also explore the legacy of the rich local history by visiting places such as the Medina Sidonia Ducal Palace, the Orleans Palace or the Santiago Castle. The city is also full of convents and churches such as the Convent of the Discalced Carmelites, the Parish of Our Lady of the O and the Church of Santo Domingo, to name but a few. Abastos Market is an absolute gem and the Barrio Alto district is full of lively taverns, wine bars and terrace bars where you can enjoy a beer or a glass of manzanilla with some tapas.
